Principe Real is a historic area of Lisbon, and one of it’s most cosmopolitan neighborhoods, the nearby garden square features traditional terraces that are perfect for a summer drink and hosts Saturday morning flea market.
At just few steps you can find the pretty Praça das Flores with plenty of Cafes and Restaurants or you can walk up to the café in the middle of Principe Real Gardens.
From here you can walk 5 minutes to the famous Bairro Alto neighborhood and and 10 minutes to the Chiado and Baixa areas. In the proximities you’ll also find the Botanical Garden of Lisbon, as well as antiques, clothing and design shops.
You’ll find a tram stop beside this viewpoint that will bring you in 5 minutes to the areas of Restauradores and Rossio, where you can find connections to Sintra. Similarly, a trip to Cais do Sodre takes another 5 to 10 minutes, and from there connections to Cascais and Estoril are easy and smooth.The neighborhood is full of resources to fulfill all your daily necessities – very close to the apartment there is a supermarket and a pharmacy, as well as a variety of restaurantes and bars, banks, and even a collection of museums, including the Natural History Museum, Museum of San Roque and the Museum of Chiado.
